Meridian Attorneys Honored by Super Lawyers

Meridian Law, PLLC is pleased to announce that two of its attorneys were again named to the 2023 Mid-South (Tennessee) Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. This honor recognizes their high level of peer recognition and professional achievement. No more than 5% of the lawyers in the state are selected as Super Lawyers and no more than 2.5% are selected as Rising Stars.

Thomas W. Shumate IV, Founder and Managing Member of Meridian Law, LLC, has again been selected as a Super Lawyer. Tom has received this award for the past four years and was named to the Rising Star list twice.

Firm Member, Eric C. Lyons, was again named to the Rising Stars. This is the third year Eric has been included in the Rising Star list.

Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The company also recognizes Rising Stars, a list of “the top up-and-coming attorneys in [a] state – those who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.” The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers and an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
