Ethan Eggleston

Associate

Ethan works with small and midsize businesses throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee to protect what they are building, navigate legal challenges, and make informed decisions as they grow. His practice focuses on business litigation, including trade secrets, unfair competition, business torts, commercial disputes, as well as providing day-to-day legal guidance to business owners.

Ethan understands that growing businesses need a responsive attorney who takes the time to learn their business and offer practical, personalized counsel. Through his outside general counsel work, he helps clients address everything from contracts and employment agreements to protecting confidential information and navigating employee departures. When disputes arise, he keeps the client’s business objectives in focus and works to find solutions that protect the company’s interests.

Ethan earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the South Carolina Law Review and published an article on consumer-finance regulation. He received CALI Awards in Trail Advocacy and Advanced Issues in Statutory Interpretation.

A native of Elizabethtown, Tennessee, Ethan understands the hard work behind behind building a successful business. Before law school, he worked on a manufacturing assembly line to help fund his education - an experience that strengthened his appreciation for the people and operations that keep businesses moving. He brings that same hardworking, practical mindset to helping his clients protect and grow what they’ve worked so hard to build.
