Mikayla G. Joyner
senior Paralegal
What is the first word that comes to mind when we think of Mikayla? Full. Yes, full. Mikayla is full of energy, full of surprises, full of curiosity, and has a heart that is full of kindness and compassion. This may not be the most glamorous word, but it is undoubtedly the best word to describe how impressed we are with her.
Mikayla is a Southern girl at heart and is fiercely loyal to her friends, family, and co-workers. This, combined with her insatiable demand for justice, led her to become a paralegal. (And if she’s being honest, coming from a long line of attorneys probably had a little something to do with her fascination with the legal field too!) She loves being a paralegal and is proud of her former role as a Content Review Specialist for a company that helped investigate missing and exploited children. Her efforts during the course of that year aided approximately 400 arrests and saved approximately 70 children.
When she is not supporting her team at work, Mikayla is likely volunteering at a food bank, trying to convince Harry Styles to marry her, or doing just about anything that allows her to spend time with her friends and family.
And another thing…, just when you think you have “Mik” figured out, she will surprise you with some of her little-known talents; like the fact that she used to sing in the choir or was a competitive swimmer who trained with Olympic gold medalists. Geez, really?!
