Barham Selected for Young Leaders Council of Williamson County

Katelyn Barham was recently selected for the Young Leaders Council (YLC) in Williamson County. Katelyn has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and a passion for making a difference. This recognition is a testament to her hard work, innovative thinking, and commitment to excellence. We look forward to the incredible impact she will make as a member of the Young Leaders Council.

Young Leaders Council (YLC) is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1985 by the Council of Community Services, in partnership with the Frist Foundation (formerly the HCA Foundation) and the United Way. YLC’s programming consists of a series of eleven interactive training sessions that address fundamental board skills. Participants are typically between 25 and 40 years of age and represent a broad range of corporate, civic, and volunteer backgrounds. The training is followed by the completion of a one-year internship with a nonprofit community organization. During the internship, the YLC participant will serve as a non-voting member of the organization’s working board.

Over the years, more than 3,000 young professionals have participated in the YLC program and gained valuable leadership skills while enhancing their professional network. YLC alumni have contributed significantly to the growth, sustainability, and success of hundreds of local nonprofit organizations and continue to impact the community as board leaders today. As YLC continues to train the next generation of nonprofit board leaders, we invite you to connect with us and to share this opportunity with your colleagues and friends.
